Welcome to Captains Quarters, located in Hall Quarry on Mount Desert Island. Enjoy spectacular mountain and water views from your living room, deck, balcony or bedroom. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets looking out across Somes Sound; the only fjord on the Eastern Coast of the United States. Enjoy watching mother and baby deer foraging for food from your deck. Supplied for your use is a dock, mooring, and rowboat at the waters edge. Canoes and kayaks are encouraged. Pack lightly as all linens, towels, blankets, pillows, washer, dryer, firewood, etc. are included. The cottage has a full kitchen including microwave and dishwasher. Owner is near the premises to quickly take care of any unexpected problems should they arise. Enjoy time with your family in the large recreational room downstairs that has a ping pong table, Franklin fireplace, TV, kitchenette and seating. Weekly rates covers up to six persons. There are three bedrooms in the main house with two king size beds, and one room with two twins. There are two full sized baths w/ showers, and three half baths. There is also a large bedroom over the 2 car garage attached to the house that has two twins and a queen size bed (1/2 bath) which can be opened up to accommodate up to 4 more persons, for a total of ten, for an extra fee.
