An amazing place to gather family & friends for VATech & VCOM sporting events, graduations, class reunions, moving in your freshman & visiting your upperclassman.

Experience stilled time surrounded by the peaceful solitude of nature from the great room with its glass walls, Listen to the creek flowing & the birds singing and the breeze blowing. The spectacular views of beautiful surrounding mountains & rolling valley are breath-taking. The sunsets down the valley & the brilliant once in a lifetime views of the stars in the night-sky are awe-inspiring.
You can hike anywhere on the land & there are spectacular views from every vantage point. Picnic on the meadows & explore the creeks & park-like woods.
Experience awesome outdoor adventures nearby including the Appalachian Trail that adjoins our property. We are very fortunate to have the beautiful Kelly Knob AT hike right in our backyard. If you brave the initial steep half-mile, you are rewarded with a lovely rolling hike in woods capped off with a spectacular view of the New River Valley. If you are feeling hearty you can start the hike without any driving straight from the farm house.
PLEASE NOTE that we have a lovely couple residing in the basement studio apartment. We like to have someone trustworthy living on the premises. I have found Tyla & Anthony to be exceptional young people - very mature, responsible, considerate and friendly. Please see their photo among the Retreat photos.
The apartment does have a separate outside entrance and Tyla & Anthony will be very respectful of your presence in the house and your right to privacy and a quiet and non-intrusive Retreat stay. But they will be happy to chat with you about the area or answer questions you might have or help you out in any way that he can while you're there.
Rates:
Standard Rate: 2-night minimum:
Weeknights: $450/night
Weekends & Holidays: $475/night
Football weekends: $595/night
Weekly Rate: $1795/any 7-night week
VATech May Graduation: $2,500/week (any 7 nights minimum). Currently rented for 2026 & wait-listed for 2027.
Monthly, Summer: June 1 - Aug 20: $3750/month.
